I have to tell you that I was VERY surprised at the HUGE range of samples Lisa of http://clothinglabels4u.com/ sent over to me to review. I guess with my limited manufacturing experience, I wasn’t thinking past the ‘care tag’ sewn into garments, or the ‘made by grandma’ tags you can buy at a craft store.
Just take a look … they have paper tags, recycled paper tags, tags with ribbon, tags with string, instruction card inserts, rubber tags, woven tags, adhesive tags, damask labels, satin labels, taffeta labels, embroidered badges and even a ruler.
Best of all Lisa of clothinglabels4u is great to work with. If you make your own products and need clothing labels of any sort clothinglabels4u is a great place to get them.

Gen-Y Side Snap Diaper Cover and Laundry Tote Review

My first reaction when I opened the Gen-Y package for reveiw, was “WOW, this is gorgeous”. I was lucky and received the side snapping cover in this gorgeous Anna Maria Horner’s Chocolate Lollipop print.
You won’t want to cover this up! I’d say it’s a definite MUST for summer cloth diapering. Chocolate binding and snaps make for the perfect finishing touch.

Side snap covers are so easy to use and do a fabulous job of keep leaks away. An inner layer of PUL acts as a waterproof barrier, but is soft and flexible. The waist and legs are fitted with non-wicking stretch binding that gathers the fabric, yet is gentle on little legs and tummies. Poly-resin snap closures allow air circulation, are more difficult for your baby to undo, and wont snag or wear out with time. Machine wash/ dry with your other diapers… What’s not to love?

I find side-snap covers work best with a fitted cloth diaper, but can also be used with a prefold with snappi (or pins).

The laundry tote I received works well! I took advantage of it on a weekend trip to the mountains last weekend. You can imagine with the snow meltin and four kids, we had plenty of wet and soiled laundry. I managed to stuff a multitude of very muddy kids clothing into the tote. I was a wee bit worried about it soaking through and soiling our clean clothing for the trip home, but the tote held up wonderfully. The best part … I was able to just unzip it, throw the whole works into the machine when we got home … laundry tote and all.
The laundry tote is 14×26, it is made of heavy duty PUL and closes with a zipper to keep odors where they belong. A beautiful handle is constructed of two layers of cotton woven fabric, reinforced with heavy duty thread; it is just the right size to go over a door knob or wall hook. All seams and corners are reinforced.

Tidbit-Couture Wool Diaper Cover Reveiw

Wool has got to be my favorite natural fabric for diapering (especially for night time), so I was looking forward to receiving the Tidbit-Couture organic wool diaper covers for review. I wasn’t disappointed. The 100% Organic Merino Wool is super soft to the touch. You’ll be more than pleased to use it on your baby.

The workmanship on both items is superb as you can see in the photo below.
The wrap is designed with two (2) layers of beautiful, durable, soft Certified 100% Organic Merino Wool and a multitude of snaps to ensure you get the right fit.
The longies are also designed beautiful, durable, soft Certified 100% Organic Merino Wool, but are one-ply outer-layer and a short inner-layer so as to offer double protection in the diaper area where is is most needed. Note: longies are not available for purchase until later this spring. I just loved these. I can’t imagine a more comfortable garment for a small baby (or big one)!
